What's Included With Your Tour

Sightseeing tours: Led by a Capstone guide, and local guides when appropriate, including admissions to sights seen as a group. 

Accommodations:  Each night, your own room with private bath in a monastery or small hotel in the historic centre of each city or town. 

Meals: On every tour we include all breakfasts and a number of feasts which highlight local cuisine.   

Transportation: All transportation required for group activities from the first hotel to the last hotel of the tour. 

What's Excluded

Excluded are costs of air transport, insurance and cost of accommodation and meals while travelling to and from designated trip start points.   

Rooming Policies

Single Supplements:  We do not expect solo travelers to share a room.  (If you and a friend wish to share a room, that is fine.)   For a supplement of €250-€300(Euros), you will be guaranteed a private single room. 

Non-smoking Rooms:  While we do not have a "no smoking" policy on our tours, smokers should be advised that in Italy & Spain, smoking is not permitted in restaurants, bars, public buildings, buses, or in the monasteries we will be staying in. 

Currency:   Prices are quoted in Euros (€) because all services are purchased in Europe.  This allows us to provide our Canadian clients with the extra discount of no HST, a saving of 13% off the tour price. 

Deposit:   A deposit in Canadian funds of $1000 (per person per trip) is required upon booking a tour, payable by cheque, bank transfer, or money order to Capstone Tours.  The deposit is 100% refundable for a period of two weeks after it is received by Capstone. 

Balance of Payment:   Balance of payment by cheque or money order to Capstone Tours is due 30 days before trip commencement date. 

Participant Cancellation:    Cancel up to 2 weeks prior to start date of trip; we refund 50% of trip price.  Within two weeks of departure no refunds will be given on the full trip price.  Refunds do not apply to no-shows or early-leavers. 

We strongly recommend purchasing flight cancellation and travel medical insurance available from most travel agents and credit card companies. 

Tour Cancellation:    We reserve the right to cancel a tour with due notice because of insufficient enrollment or other reasons beyond our control, in which case the full amount paid to Capstone Tours will be refunded.   

Passport:    Please ensure that you have a current passport.   

Waiver:    All trip participants are required to sign a general trip waiver available from Capstone Tours.
